Federico Bertoni

PhD student at CAMS (EHESS), Paris

I am currently a PhD student at CAMS (Centre d'analyse et de mathématique sociales), EHESS (Paris) under the co-direction of Alessandro Sarti (CAMS) and Giovanna Citti of the department of mathematics at University of Bologna (UNIBO). I'm part of the MathInParis project, enrolled at Sorbonne University.

My research focuses on neurogeometric models of the primary visual cortex with many applications on deep learning, in particular involving Convolutional Neural Networks.
